According to industry reports, the makers of Pralay are considering Alia as the female lead opposite Ranveer, sparking excitement among fans of the duo’s on‑screen chemistry.

Pralay is set to be directed by Jai Mehta, known for his work in gripping narratives, and will explore a world devastated by a catastrophic event that thrusts humanity into chaos. As quoted by Mid-Day, "The female lead is central to the narrative. She isn’t introduced as a love interest. She challenges the hero’s ideas in a collapsing world.
