Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Love and War is among the highly anticipated movies of 2026. Ranbir is also gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1. However,

In order to provide enough time between the two releases, Love and War was originally scheduled to be released in March 2026, followed by Ramayana during Diwali. However, Love and War seems to have been postponed once more and might be released nearer to the mythological epic.

Love and War's March release has been postponed due to production delays.

Prior to Ramayana, it was previously reported that Ranbir had asked for a June release. But according to a recent report from Bollywood Hungama, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film's production has been delayed until May 2026.

Love and War is now expected to be released in August or September 2026 due to the latest delay.

The Ramayana filmmakers reportedly feel let down by this new development because they had hoped for a minimum of six months to pass between the two movies.

The source said, “The delay in shoots has also resulted in an increase in the budget for Love and War.”

Although there hasn't been an official confirmation yet, the first look of Love and War is anticipated to be released in January 2026. However, all three actors will be involved in the shoot's climax, which is still to be filmed. After Alia finishes the climax with Vicky and Ranbir, they will have six weeks of filming remaining.
