After a challenging few weeks, Rajpal Yadav is embracing a fresh start with a project close to his heart.
The beloved comic actor has launched his official YouTube channel, signalling a new chapter in his life and career following his recent release on interim bail.
In a heartfelt video shared on social media, Rajpal Yadav spoke directly to his fans, his characteristic warmth and humour shining through. "Hi friends, I am your Rajpal and I am very happy to tell you that I have been preparing for a long time to start a new chapter. That moment has come, I need your blessings," he said, expressing gratitude and optimism as he invited his supporters to join him on this journey.
Revealing the name and vision behind his new venture, Rajpal Yadav added, "My YouTube channel is being launched from today and the name of this channel is Rajpal Naurang Yadav." He explained the channel’s purpose with genuine enthusiasm: "The mission of the Rajpal Naurang Yadav YouTube channel is only that children, old, young, everyone should have the same entertainment. A lot of healthy entertainment for good blood circulation. This channel is yours, enjoy it, share it a lot, subscribe."
The launch comes after a difficult personal period. Rajpal Yadav was recently in Tihar Jail in connection with a cheque-bounce case, spending around 12 days in custody before securing interim bail.
He is reportedly dealing with liabilities nearing Rs 9 crore, linked to his 2012 directorial venture, Ata Pata Lapata, which required a loan of Rs 5 crore. The film’s underperformance at the box office saw his financial obligations swell over time.
After his release on 17 February, following a Rs 1.5 crore bail deposit, Rajpal Yadav returned to his hometown of Shahjahanpur to attend his niece’s wedding — a chance to reconnect with family amid the turbulence.
Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, with the next hearing set for 18 March 2026, Rajpal Yadav is choosing to focus on positivity and creativity, using his new YouTube channel as a way to reconnect with fans and share a lighter, more joyful side of himself with the world.
