Actor Rajpal Yadav was recently released from Tihar jail on an interim bail in a Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case. Soon after his release, he went to Uttar Pradesh to attend his niece's wedding.
A number of videos from the event have gone viral since the celebrations started, showcasing the actor having a good time. He was seen dancing passionately in one video in particular, which struck a deep chord with his followers.
Another wedding video has now surfaced, revealing the actor's more emotional side during his niece's vidai (farewell) ceremony.
In the video, Rajpal is seen hugging his niece and bidding her farewell with obvious grief. He comforts her at the same moment, which helps her feel better as she departs her parents' house. The video is widely shared on social media.
However, another video showed Rajpal dancing at his niece's mehndi ceremony. He danced to the hit song ‘Teri Chunnariya Dil Le Gayi’ by Salman Khan while wearing a beige kurta and lungi. Radha Yadav, his wife, and other relatives joined in the festivities.
The actor made his first post after the release on Thursday, thanking his fans for supporting him and sticking by him during the trying time after being released from prison.
However, he also sparked controversy after he suggested a designated smoking area in the jail. In a conversation with PTI, Rajpal suggested that there should be “designated smoking areas inside jails, similar to facilities at railway stations and airports. My advocate Bhaskar Upadhyay will officially respond to all legal questions. I want to increase my earnings, not change my currency.”
