The actor was recently released from the Tihar jail where he had surrendered in Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case. Rajpal Yadav walked out of Tihar Jail on Tuesday evening after the Delhi High Court permitted his temporary release from jail in cheque bounce cases.

After all formalities were completed, Rajpal Yadav walked out of Tihar jail around 4.50 pm, a source said. He was granted relief after submitting Rs 1.5 crore to the complainant.

Speaking to reporters outside the jail, Rajpal Yadav said he has received unwavering support from across the country.

According to PTI, Rajpal Yadav has also urged the prison authorities to introduce smoking rooms on the jail premises.

Rajpal, who is curently in Shahjahanpur district, said there should be "designated smoking areas inside jails, similar to facilities at railway stations and airports."

"It is often difficult to judge from the outside who is a hardened criminal and who made a one-time mistake. My advocate Bhaskar Upadhyay will officially respond to all legal questions," he further said.

Rajpal Yadav has received immense support from the film fraternity. Sonu Sood has already signed Rajpal for his next movie and said he has given an advance signing amount. Tejaswi Yadav and many others have extended a helpinh hand to the actor.
