On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, renowned yoga expert, author, and wellness advocate Ira Trivedi announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, film producer Madhu Mantena.
The couple shared the joyful news on social media, marking a beautiful new chapter in their lives.
Sharing the announcement through a joint post on Instagram on January 15, Ira wrote, “Our life in bloom Thank you Krishna for this beautiful gift of divine life… seeking your blessings on this auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.”
Ira Trivedi is a leading contemporary yoga practitioner and Yoga Acharya, known for her classical Hatha yoga practice and deeply personalised teaching style. She has been recognised among BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women and Verve’s 50 Most Influential Women in India.
Madhu Mantena is a prominent figure in Indian cinema, having produced critically and commercially successful films such as Ghajini, Queen, Masaan, and Super 30, as well as the widely celebrated series Sacred Games.
On the work front, Mantena’s production house is actively on the lookout for new talent, with several names expected to be revealed soon.
Speaking about the search for fresh faces, producer Madhu Mantena said, “As part of Ram Gopal Varma’s production house and later when I co-partnered as a producer at Phantom, the endeavour was to constantly search and find new talent. Let me tell you, this will be just the beginning of one more phase for me of introducing new talent into the film industry.”
Madhu was previously married to fashion designer and actor Masaba Gupta. The former couple got married in 2015 but later divorced in 2019. While Madhu later married Ira, Masaba found love again with actor Satyadeep Mishra.
Madhu and Ira tied the knot in June 2023 in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family.
