Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife, Sakshi Dhoni, took the internet by surprise after she shared an unseen throwback photo with actor Hrithik Roshan on social media.

Sakshi posted a series of pictures on Instagram dating back to 2000–2006, giving followers a nostalgic look at her younger days spent with close friends.

Among the images, one particular photo instantly grabbed everyone's attention — a young Sakshi posing with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.

It appeared that she had the opportunity to click the photo with him during the period when Hrithik was shooting for Krrish, which was released in 2006.

The actor is seen sporting a look reminiscent of the film, leading fans to speculate that the picture was taken during the movie’s production phase.

Once the pictures went up, social media buzzed with reactions. Many praised Sakshi for her timeless beauty, while others were intrigued by Hrithik’s unexpected appearance in the throwback. Speaking of Krrish, the superhero franchise's fans also received a major update in September 2025 when filmmaker Rakesh Roshan confirmed that Krrish 4 is slated for a 2027 release.

As the veteran filmmaker stepped away from directing the upcoming installment, Hrithik was set to step into his shoes this time.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in the action film War 2 alongside Jr NTR and actress Kiara Advani. Despite a strong opening driven by its star power and sequel hype, the film’s box office momentum slowed after the first week. War 2 has earned an estimated Rs 365 crore worldwide.
