Krystle D’Souza, the versatile actor who featured in the hit Bollywood film Dhurandhar, has been reflecting on the whirlwind success of the high-energy song “Shararat” — and a surprising viral moment involving Hollywood star Nick Jonas. The catchy dance number, which stars Krystle alongside Ayesha Khan, has captured widespread attention, helping boost both the film’s music popularity and Krystle’s own buzz among audiences.

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal, released in December 2025 to rave box-office success. One of its standout tracks, Shararat, has become a social media favourite, currently surpassing 100 million views on YouTube, according to cast mate Ayesha Khan, who called the achievement “surreal” in her heartfelt Instagram post.

Krystle revealed to Zoom that she was in Amsterdam when she saw Nick's video. "I woke up and I opened Instagram. And I have been tagged with Nick jiju's face in a lot of videos. So, I was like, What is happening? I opened it, and I saw Tenu Shararat and he is dancing. I thought it's some other video. And everyone has put the audio in the background."

The actress revealed, "I typed Nick Jonas. I went to his account. I am like, What? This is really happening. I rewatched it. I was like, what should I do? Sometimes, some things are just overwhelming. And then I put it on my story as well. It was just wow. The reach is next level."

The song’s infectious beats and choreography — performed on screen by Krystle and Ayesha — have inspired dance covers and reels across platforms, reflecting its mass appeal. Inside Bollywood, the response has been equally enthusiastic: Krystle has shared how uplifting it was to work with Ranveer Singh and to be part of such a vibrant sequence, describing the set energy as dynamic and memorable.

Nick Jonas and his brothers, Kevin and Joe, posted a video of themselves grooving to the track as part of their pre-show hype — a clip that was widely celebrated online as a fun cultural crossover.
