
Khosla Ka Ghosla is all set to return for a sequel with its OG cast members. Anupam Kher took fans on a nostalgic journey and rekindled interest in the follow-up to his cult masterpiece Khosla Ka Ghosla from 2006 with his latest social media post.
Anupam Kher took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos with the original cast, which included actors Parvin Dabas, Kiran Juneja, and Ranvir Shorey, who played the famous Khosla family in the first movie.
The actor posted a touching remark on his feelings for Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 alongside the pictures. He wrote in the caption, “KHOSLAS ARE BACK AND HOW: I have been in movies now for four decades. But never have I experienced this crazy anticipation for the sequel of any movie (including International) as in the case of #KhoslaKaGhosla2! I wonder what is it that resonates with the magic of this film!”
Additionally, the veteran actor asked fans to comment on the growing anticipation for the follow-up.
He concluded his caption by writing, “Please share with what you think are the REASONS for this excitement from all age groups! I am genuinely curious!! Jai Mata Di! #Sequel #CultClassic.”
Tara Sharma, who starred in the first movie, has also returned to the cast of the sequel. The post featured few behind-the-scenes photos of the team, which include the cast members posing together for the camera. Additionally, Anupam Kher provided a close-up of his character from the sequel.
This comes after a video from the set of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 went viral on social media. The actors spotted shooting in Faridabad.
Previously, Anupam Kher revealed scenes from the set of his 550th movie, Khosla Ka Ghosla. Actor Ravi Kishan has joined the movie in addition to the existing cast.
Dibakar Banerjee's 2006 film Khosla Ka Ghosla became a cult favourite due to its humorous plot and excellent acting. The movie addressed topics including family disputes and real estate fraud in a straightforward but humorous manner.
