Kareena Kapoor is currently gearing up for her next film, directed by Meghna Gulazar, Daayra. As the filmmaker celebrated her 52nd birthday, Kareena shared a heartwarming birthday wish.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena took to Instagram on December 12 (Saturday) and shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of Daaya featuring her along with Meghna and penned a beautiful message for her special day.

She wrote in the caption, "To sum up in words the feeling I have had working with @meghnagulzar will always be less…Daayra is nothing short of one of my most special films as it marks my first with the kind, gentle, passionate, smart and ever so sharp Meghna Gulzar… and to bring to life a subject that is so exciting… To be in your direction and under your guidance has been one of my most fulfilling acts… "

Daayra is a crime drama starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, the film delves into the pulse of society as it confronts topical and disturbing realities, exploring the age-old paradox of crime, punishment, and justice.

The film is set to release in 2026 and is currently in production.
