Ikkis Box Office Collection Day 2: Agastya Nanda's film witnesses a dip, mints Rs 3.50 Cr net in India

Ikkis opened to positive reviews and a promising start at the box office but witnessed a noticeable slowdown on its second day. The Sriram Raghavan directorial now faces tough competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar as it continues its theatrical run.

2026 began with the premiere of Sriram Raghavan's military drama. The film, which starred Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Simar Bhatia, and Dharmendra, opened in the theatres with positive reviews. The film also debuted in the theatres with great numbers at the box office, but saw a decline on the second day.

According to a trade website, Ikkis earned Rs 3.50 crore net in India on its second day of release. The film saw a significant dip at the box office as it opened with Rs 7 crore net in India. The total collection now stands at Rs 10.50 crore net in India in two days.

The film registered 14.72% occupancy for the Hindi language with 5.75% footfall during the morning shows, 14.73% in the afternoon, 18.06% in the evening, and 20.33% occupancy during the night shows on its second day of release.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is giving fierce competition to the recently released Ikkis at the box office. On the 29th day of its release, Dhurandhar was able to earn Rs 6.63 crore, bringing its total to Rs 745.63 crore.

Ikkis is based on the remarkable life of India's youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film, which is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak War, chronicles Arun's journey from his early military training to the front lines, showcasing his bravery, patriotism, and ultimate sacrifice at the age of just 21.

In the movie, Agastya plays Khetarpal, and in his last role, cinematic icon Dharmendra plays his father. A little more than a month before the movie's premiere, as the film marks the last on-screen appearance of the legendary veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24 due to age-related ailments. The war drama is directed by Sriram Ragha.
