Bahraini rap sensation Flipperachi, whose real name is Hussam Aseem, shot to global fame after his track Fa9LA went viral following its inclusion in Dhurandhar. The song, which played during a scene featuring Akshaye Khanna dancing, quickly took over the internet, with Indian audiences going crazy over the catchy beats and infectious energy.

In an interview with Filmfare, Flipperachi opened up about the overwhelming response his music has received from India, Akshaye Khanna’s now-viral dance clip, and also dropped hints about a possible tour.

Confirming the buzz, Flipperachi revealed that a tour is officially on the cards. He shared, "There’s definitely a tour in the works, and we’re working on the dates. I’ll be announcing performance dates soon."

Talking about future music, the rapper expressed keen interest in India’s hip-hop scene and hinted at potential collaborations with some big names. He said, "There’s a lot of artists I’d love to collaborate with including Badshah and Param. I might or might not be working on some original collabs right now! Can’t say more at this stage."

With a tour on the horizon and secret collaborations possibly in the pipeline, Flipperachi’s journey with the Indian audience seems to be just beginning.

Addressing the curiosity around Fa9LA, especially among the millions of Indians chanting “Ya Akhi Doos Doos,” Flipperachi finally explained the meaning behind the slang. He clarified that in Bahraini slang, Fa9la roughly translates to turning up, letting loose, dancing, and simply having fun.

Although the song was originally released as a fun, upbeat track in early 2024, its placement in Dhurandhar gave it a darker, edgier tone — particularly during the scene where Akshaye Khanna’s character steps out of a car. Reflecting on this, Flipperachi said, "The song is definitely a party track, but it does have a bit of darkness to it in the production. The production team had a great ear for it when they selected the song for the scene."

He further added, "When I saw it, I got excited for the movie to come out. It felt like a moment that was going to be special, and it definitely has been."

Dhurandhar, which released on December 5, 2025, starred Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and others. The film went on to become one of the highest-grossing movies of 2025, earning over Rs 300 crore at the box office.

Directed, written and produced by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 is slated for release in March 2026.
