Bigg Boss 19 contestant Gaurav Khanna’s father expresses his fury against Farrhana Bhatt; says, ‘I would have slapped her…’

Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has captured countless hearts, and his recent victory reflects this significantly. Similar to his fans, his parents are incredibly proud of their son. While they feel pride, they also experience anger toward certain contestants from the Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show who, in their view, crossed all boundaries during their conflict with Gaurav.

In a conversation with IANS, Gaurav's father mentioned, “Contestants like Zeishan Quadri and Abhishek Bajaj were quite aggressive, resulting in numerous confrontations between them and Gaurav. However, I was aware that Gaurav would handle everything independently, as within that house, no one can assist you; you need to defend yourself.”

When questioned if he felt anger seeing his son targeted, he replied, "I was indeed very angry when Farrhana Bhatt ridiculed him and referred to him as a ‘superstar’ in a disrespectful manner. She doubted his profession and his success as a television actor. That really bothered me," he remarked.

"At that point, even Gaurav's fury was evident; his neck veins were bulging. Had I been present, I’m unsure how I would have reacted. I may have even hit Farhana," he added.

The elated father also discussed his son's match during the show. "At first, I didn't particularly like seeing him play indoors. There were excessive arguments, and I couldn't comprehend why he was participating. Yet, after witnessing him manage challenges and even triumph over others, I understood he was doing so with a composed mindset. Fighting goes against his nature completely, so witnessing him remain calm filled me with pride," stated Gaurav's father.

In the Bigg Boss 19 Grand Finale on December 7, Gaurav Khanna won, surpassing the other four finalists Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, and Amaal Mallik.
