Prime Video’s Subedaar is bringing Indian storytelling to a worldwide audience. The freshly released action-drama lit up the enormous screens of Times Square, one of the most recognisable commercial junctions in the world, to kick off this international exhibition.
As the film leaves a lasting impression on a worldwide stage, the extravagant exhibition represents a proud moment for Indian cinema.
The film, which stars Anil Kapoor, has won accolades for its stirring performances and engrossing cinematic experience.
Subedaar, a gritty and emotionally intense action-drama, centres on retired soldier Subedaar Arjun Maurya, whose peaceful civilian existence is upended by a careless deed. He must deal with crime, corruption, and moral dilemmas after being forced to return to a chaotic world in order to defend his family and restore his honour.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film is produced by Anil Kapoor, Vikram Malhotra, and Triveni. Radhikka Madan plays important parts in the film alongside Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, Mona Singh, and Khushboo Sundar.
The film has created a buzz at the international level. Acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie has reportedly reached out to Anil Kapoor after seeing portions of the film.

According to sources, the director wrote a note praising the actor's passion and expressing a desire to see the entire movie.
Subedaar premiered on Prime Video on March 5 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu across India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
