Ameesha allegedly arrived in Delhi during the wedding and demanded an extra Rs 2 lakh to get to the location. The actress allegedly returned without telling anyone after Pawan Kumar refused to pay the additional sum.

According to Pawan Kumar, Ameesha failed to reimburse the Rs 11 lakh amount. In addition to Patel, the complaint has brought legal action against Ahmed Sharif, Rajkumar Goswami, and Suresh Kumar.

Sections 120B, 406, 504, 420, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code are among the sections under which the actress has been charged.

Ameesha is accused of issuing a 2 lakh cheque that subsequently bounced. In 2026, the court had mandated her in-person appearance.
