Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran's starrer Drishyam 3. However, the shooting of the film has officially kicked off.
According to Sacnilk, Ajay Devgn has reportedly started shooting for Drishyam 3 from December 15 in Mumbai. Abhishek Pathak will return to the director’s chair in the third instalment.
In Mumbai, the crew has a 10-day schedule with a focus on indoor sequences. The main cast, which includes Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, who will return to their potent roles, will join Ajay.
According to reports, the producers have set a strict timeline to seize the opportunity. The team will take a brief New Year's vacation once the Mumbai portion of the production concludes around Christmas.
With the goal of finishing the complete movie by April 2026, filming is anticipated to start up again in earnest around the first week of January 2026.
This came after Ajay Devgn wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming action-adventure, Ranger. The actor is renowned for his strict shooting schedules. Ajay plays a forest officer in the Jagan Shakti-directed movie. Due to weather restrictions overseas, the team recently moved to the Palghar forests, and sources state that the actor has finally successfully finished this demanding timetable.

Akshaye Khanna will also reportedly reprise his role as IG Tarun Ahlawat IPS from Drishyam 2. While the further details of the film have been kept under wraps, Drishyam 3 is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 2, 2026.
