Adivi Sesh praises Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar; calls Akshaye Khanna ‘magnificent’

Adivi Shesh praises Aditya Dhar

The spy thriller Dhurandhar, helmed by Aditya Dhar and featuring Ranveer Singh, has taken the box-office by storm since its release on 5 December.

Even a week later, the movie is captivating not only keeping viewers but also taking them back in time, thanks to the depiction of history and espionage.

Telugu actor Adivi Sesh is one of those impressed with the film, he took to social media to share a heartfelt post.

Adivi Sesh admitted he had been a bit “late to the party” in watching the movie, but said the experience left a lasting impression.

He praised Aditya Dhar for tackling complex historical themes with subtlety, writing, “Loved #Dhurandhar! Late to the party in watching the country’s biggest film but it’s so well done. It’s an amazing achievement from you @AdityaDharFilms sir to show so many grays with subtlety. Absolutely international presentation on such a relevant topic. As someone who researched 26/11 so much for Major, it was an entirely new experience for me to see how the ISI’s handlers were empowered by the Lyari underworld. My heart broke and my blood boiled when I saw that."

He also showered praise on the cast, highlighting the standout performances of Akshaye Khanna and Rakesh Bedi, while appreciating the ensemble as a whole.

Adivi Sesh added, “Superb performances from the entire cast, everyone from @RanveerOfficial garu to @ActorMadhavan Garu. My favorite was undoubtedly the magnificent #AkshayeKhanna ji as Rehman Dakait and Rakesh Bedi ji as Jameel. The extraordinary music, international cinematography, and overall craft made for a memorable experience. I’ll be watching it again soon."

After Adivi Sesh praised him, director Aditya Dhar also responded warmly.
