Bigg Boss Marathi 6 contestant Roshan Bhajankar has opened up about his tough daily routine, revealing that he works as a cement worker and coolie at a railway station during the day, and dedicates his nights to bodybuilding training.
This season of Bigg Boss Marathi has brought in contestants from different districts of the state, each carrying a unique identity. From Vidarbha’s Amravati comes Roshan Bhajankar, a man shaped by physical labour, discipline, and quiet determination. He is known today as a bodybuilder, but his story goes far beyond muscles and medals. It is the story of an ordinary man who refused to give up on his dreams despite harsh realities.
Roshan’s fitness journey began around 2010–2011, a time when his family’s financial situation was extremely fragile. He studied only till Class 10. While attending school, he also worked to support his household and slowly developed an interest in gym training.
When he failed his Class 10 exams, Roshan made a tough decision to leave formal education and focus entirely on earning a living while continuing bodybuilding. His routine became brutally demanding. During the day, he worked as a labourer, and at night, he trained in the gym.
The situation at home left him with no room for comfort. Roshan supports his wife and two daughters by working as a hamal (Porter) at a railway station. His daily work involves lifting heavy cement bags, a task that tests physical strength and mental endurance. For every cement bag he carries, Roshan earns just Rs 3.45. His income depends purely on how many loads he can lift in a day.
Even after exhausting physical labour, Roshan does not allow tiredness to defeat him. Once work ends, he heads straight to the gym. He has shared that although his body feels drained after a long day, working out gives him new energy. The gym, for him, is not just about fitness. It is a space where stress fades and hope returns, preparing him to face the next day with renewed confidence.
Social media changed Roshan’s life in unexpected ways. While continuing his daily labour work, he started posting honest videos on Instagram, talking openly about his routine, struggles, and dreams. One video, where he explained his life journey with complete sincerity, went viral. Today, that video has crossed over 25 million views, turning a railway station labourer into a recognised social media figure.
With growing visibility came motivation and opportunity. Roshan began participating in bodybuilding competitions and won several awards. Now, through Bigg Boss Marathi 6, his story of struggle, discipline, and belief is reaching households across Maharashtra, reminding people that strength is built not just in the gym, but in life itself.
