Bharti Singh, Pooja Bhatt and other celebs react to Salman Khan house firing incident, say, 'God is with him'

Bollywood celebrities (from left) comedian Bharti Singh and actor-producer Pooja Bhatt, among other celebs, expressed concerns for and extended well wishes to Salman Khan, whose house witnessed gunshots on Sunday morning.

Salman Khan's residence became the scene of a concerning incident when two unidentified individuals opened fire outside his house early on (April 14) morning. This unsettling event has drawn reactions from various Bollywood celebrities, each expressing their shock and concern for the actor's safety.

Pooja Bhatt,  actor and producer, expressed her alarm on social media, stating, "Horrific and condemnable. If this can happen with a police van parked outside the Khan residence for protection then it is fair to say that safety is an illusion. We need more stringent surveillance in Bandra for sure. Robberies were rife a while ago and now a shootout? Scary."

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta also commented on the incident, bluntly criticizing the act as cowardly: “Firing at a building at 5 am shows cowardice you fukn a***.”

Comedian Bharti Singh, known as the 'laughter queen,' also spoke out, reflecting her wishes for Salman's safety: "Bhai has a lot of blessings; Bhai will be safe, I want him to be safe always."

The shooting took place outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments home at around 4:51 am on Sunday, April 14. Following the incident, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting via a social media post, describing it as just a "trailer."

This incident has not only highlighted the vulnerability of public figures but also raised broader concerns about security measures in high-profile areas like Bandra, where Salman resides.
