Allu Arjun to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for a new folklore drama: Reports

Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas will work together on another project

Actor Allu Arjun has been riding on the success of Sukumar’s Pushpa franchise. However, the viewers have been eagerly waiting to see Allu Arjun channelling a different role than the Pushpa Raj. However, recent reports have suggested that the actor will soon star in Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial project.

According to Deccan Chronicle reports, Allu Arjun and Trivikram will reportedly collaborate with an upcoming folklore drama. A source revealed to the outlet that the upcoming film is set in a fictional era and promises a grand spectacle featuring kings, queens, forts, and epic war sequences.

The actor and director duo have previously worked in commercial and social dramas, but they have seemingly shifted their focus to a fantastical world for the new project.

The source has further revealed that the highly anticipated film may take time to finally start filming as it is currently in the scripting phase. The reports have also suggested that Allu Arjun's upcoming multilingual film with either Atlee or Nelson is likely to begin production first.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram had announced their collaborative project, AA 22, last year, which will be co-produced by the actor and the director. The upcoming film is a modern adaptation of two episodes from the Mahabharata. The film is also expected to be a socio-mythological fantasy flick.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has multiple films lined up for 2025 and 2026. He will also star in AA21, AA23 and ICON. The actor will also reprise his role in Pushpa 3: The Rampage alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Vijay Devarakonda is also expected to join the ensemble cast.
