The BJP's landslide victory in Rajasthan in 2019 had surprised the political analysts as the trend was contrary to the common belief that mandate comes in favour of the ruling party in the state. The state saw several pitched battles in various constituencies.

This declaration will reveal the winners of all constituencies in Rajasthan and will significantly shape the overall outcome of the national elections.
The Rajasthan Lok Sabha Election Exit Poll Results 2024 will be declared on June 1, 2024, immediately after the conclusion of the final phase of voting. Rajasthan has a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats. These constituencies are crucial for any party or coalition aiming to secure a majority in the Lok Sabha, given Rajasthan's significant contribution to the total number of parliamentary seats.
Key candidates in the Rajasthan Lok Sabha Elections 2024 include several prominent political figures. Sachin Pilot (INC) is expected to be a significant candidate, likely contesting from Ajmer. Vasundhara Raje (BJP), the former Chief Minister, is also expected to play a significant role. Other notable figures include Jhalaram (BJP) from Jalore and C.P. Joshi (INC). Additionally, leaders from regional parties and key constituencies will also play important roles in this election.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) achieved a sweeping victory in Rajasthan, winning all 25 seats. This significant victory highlighted the BJP's dominance in the state during that election cycle. The Indian National Congress (INC) did not secure any seats, reflecting a challenging electoral landscape for the party in Rajasthan at the time. This result contributed to the BJP's overall majority in the Lok Sabha, enabling Narendra Modi to secure his second term as Prime Minister.

Stakes are high for both the key political parties -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress -- in Rajasthan. The state, which sends 25 members to the Lok Sabha, has alternated between the two parties for many years. The NDA government has been a clear favourite in the last two elections, with them winning 24 and 25 seats in 2019 and 2014 Lok Sabha polls respectively. As for 2009, it was the Congress government which took the lead with 20 seats while BJP won four seats. Similarly, in the 2023 assembly elections, the BJP won 115 seats out of the 199 where the polling took place thereby crossing the majority mark. In the previous assembly elections, the Congress party had emerged as the largest party with 100 seats to its kitty while BJP had bagged 73 seats, much lower when compared to the last elections. The Congress formed the government with the Bahujan Samaj Party and thereafter Ashok Gehlot took over the role of Chief Minister in the state. With the Lok Sabha polls approaching soon, the saffron party will hope to continue the trend of the last two general elections and the recently concluded assembly elections. Infact, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat recently exuded confidence in the BJP winning all 25 seats in Rajasthan in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In an interview, he said that the trend of forming a government with absolute majority since 2014 is there. Will the state break its tradition of evicting incumbents or will it bring the Narendra Modi-led party to power once again is something that only time will tell?
