Mamata Banerjee sustains 'major injury', says Trinamool

Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elelction, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained "a major injury", according to Trinamool Congress. She has been taken to the hospital.

The party shared photos of Ms Banerjee on a hospital bed with a deep cut in the middle of her forehead and blood on her face. According to reports, the  Chief Minister  was taken to the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata.
