The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced two key updates for students preparing for the Higher Secondary (HS) Examinations 2025. These include an extended deadline for online enrollment and revised syllabi for Class 11 and 12 students across multiple subjects.
WBCHSE Class 12th Board Exam 2025 Enrollment Deadline Extended Till December 21, 2024In a recent notification addressed to all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) affiliated with WBCHSE, the council has extended the ongoing online enrollment process for students appearing in the HS 2025 examinations.
New Deadline: December 21, 2024 (Saturday)
Late Fee: No fines will be imposed for submissions made before the deadline.
Heads of institutions are requested to take necessary actions and ensure timely enrollment of eligible students.
WB HS Class 11 & 12 Syllabus RevisedWBCHSE has introduced minor changes in the syllabus for several subjects in the Class 11 and 12 curriculum. These updates follow a detailed review process based on suggestions from stakeholders.

The updated syllabus for WB HS 2025 can be accessed and downloaded from the official website: wbchse.wb.gov.in. For Class 11 students, changes will not affect the current academic year’s Semester 2 exams. The revised syllabus will be effective from the next academic year onwards.
For Class 12 students, updates will be reflected in the 4th edition of the syllabus books and upcoming versions of the Model Question Papers.
Students are advised to download the revised syllabus immediately and cross-check any changes in their respective subjects. Students should prepare for exams using the updated syllabus and refer to new editions of model papers, once available.
