UPSC IES, ISS Final Result 2024 declared

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) examinations held in 2024. The results are based on the written examination conducted from June 21 to June 23, 2024, followed by interviews for the Personality Test in December 2024. The final merit lists of selected candidates are now available on the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.

The Government of India reported the following vacancies for the 2024 recruitment:

Indian Economic Service (IES): 18 vacancies, including reservations for categories such as EWS, OBC, SC, and ST.

Indian Statistical Service (ISS): 31 vacancies, with two positions kept vacant due to the non-availability of eligible candidates in certain PwBD categories.

The selected candidates have been recommended for appointment to the respective services based on merit and availability of vacancies.

Provisional Results: The results of some candidates have been kept provisional pending verification of documents. These candidates must submit their required documents within three months to avoid cancellation of their candidature.

Facilitation Counter: UPSC has set up a facilitation counter near its examination hall to assist candidates. Queries can also be addressed via phone at 011-23385271 or 011-23381125 during working hours.

Publication of Marks: The marks of all candidates will be made available on the official website within 15 days from the result declaration.
