UGC NET December Notification 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 session. Interested candidates can now apply online through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC-NET December 2024 exam in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects. The age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 30 years as of January 1, 2025. There is no upper age limit for applying for Assistant Professor or admission to PhD programs through the UGC-NET.

The UGC NET is a national-level test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and assesses a candidate's subject knowledge, teaching and research aptitude.
