UGC NET December 2024: Last Day to Register Extended, Check Link to Apply Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 session.  The registration dates have now been extended to today, December 11, 2024. Candidates who have not yet completed their applications are encouraged to visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, and submit their forms before the deadline.

The UGC NET December 2024 examination is scheduled to be held from January 1 to January 19, 2025. This test determines eligibility for Assistant Professorship and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.

• Candidates who have registered for UGC NET in the past will need to create a new account, as a fresh application number will be issued for the December 2024 session.

After the registration deadline, candidates will have an opportunity to make corrections to their applications between 12 December and 13 December 2024 (until 11:50 PM).

1. Visit the Official Website
2. Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in and click on the registration link.
3. Enter your name, email address, and mobile number to register.
4. A unique application number and password will be sent to you for login.
5. Log in using your application number and password.
6. Provide accurate personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred exam centres.
7. Double-check all details before submitting the form.
8. Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and your signature as per the guidelines on size and format.
9. Make the payment through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
10. Once the transaction is complete, save the payment receipt.
11. After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page as proof of submission.
