TN HSE +2 Board Exam 2025
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) is all set to conduct the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) +2 or Class 12 board exams for the academic year 2025-26 starting Monday, March 3, 2025. The exams will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM across all examination centres in the state.
Key Exam Day Guidelines- Admit Card is Mandatory: Students must carry their Tamil Nadu HSE +2 admit card to the examination center. Those without the admit card will not be permitted to enter the exam hall under any circumstances.
- Arrive Early: Candidates are advised to reach their respective examination centers at least an hour before the exam begins. This will help them avoid last-minute rushes and allow time to listen to important instructions from the invigilators.
- Question Paper Reading Time: Students will be given 10 minutes to read the question paper before the exam officially begins. This time should be utilized wisely to plan and strategize answers effectively.
- Exam Schedule: The TN Class 12 board exams will commence on March 3 and conclude on March 25, 2025. Students are encouraged to check their exam timetable carefully to avoid missing any papers.
Last Year's PerformanceIn the 2024 TN HSE +2 exams, a total of 7,60,606 students appeared for the board examinations. The results, declared on May 6, 2024, recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.56%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.44%, while boys secured a pass percentage of 92.37%.

Important Reminders- Students should carry only essential items such as admit cards, pens, pencils, and other permitted stationery to the exam center.
- Electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
