MAHA TET Answer Key 2025

Candidates who appeared for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (Maha TET) on November 23, 2025, can now access their provisional answer keys and estimated scores. The official website for downloads and objections is mahatet.in.

This release marks an important phase in the recruitment process for primary (Classes 1-5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) teaching positions across the state.

Steps to check MAHA TET Answer Key 2025

Follow these steps carefully to download the correct provisional answer key for your paper and medium:

Pro Tip: Ensure you match the question paper set code from your exam with the code mentioned in the answer key PDF for an accurate evaluation.

How to Calculate Your Estimated Score

The Maha TET exam has 150 questions, each worth 1 mark, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. Calculating your tentative score is straightforward:

  • Compare your remembered or noted answers with the official key.
  • Award yourself 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • Ignore incorrect or unattempted questions (they carry 0 marks).
  • The sum of your correct answers is your estimated raw score.

To qualify, General category candidates need a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150 marks), while Reserved category candidates need at least 55% (82.5 marks).

Procedure to Raise Objections Against the Answer Key

If you believe an answer in the provisional key is incorrect, you have the right to challenge it by submitting a formal objection before the deadline.

Objection Window: Open from December 19 to December 27, 2025. The MSCE will not accept objections submitted via email, post, or in person.

Submission Process: Objections must be filed online through the candidate's login portal on the official website. You will typically need to select the specific question, provide what you believe is the correct answer, and upload valid supporting evidence (such as textbook references or standard academic material).

Review Process: After the window closes, the MSCE will review all submitted challenges. If an objection is found valid, the answer will be corrected in the final answer key. The final results will be prepared based on this revised key.

Once the objection period ends on December 27, the MSCE will begin its review. The subsequent timeline is as follows:

  • The council will examine all challenges with supporting evidence.
  • A final answer key will be published, incorporating all accepted changes.
  • Based on this final key, the Maha TET 2025 results will be prepared and declared.

Qualified candidates will then receive their Teacher Eligibility Certificates, a mandatory requirement for appointment to teaching positions in Maharashtra's state-run, aided, and private schools.
