The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has declared the results of the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2025-26. Students who appeared for the Level 1 examination can now check and download their results from the official website, sofworld.org.

The SOF IMO is held every year for students studying in Classes 1 to 12. The examination is designed to assess mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills at the school level. For the 2025-26 academic session, the Level 1 exam was conducted on three dates, 12 November 2025, 28 November 2025, and 12 December 2025. Schools were allowed to choose a date as per their convenience.

How to check SOF IMO result 2025-26

Students can follow the steps given below to check and download their result:

1. Visit the official website at sofworld.org
2. Click on the “Results” section on the homepage
3. Select “International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2025-26”
4. Enter the required details such as roll number, class, and school code
5. Submit the details to view the result
6. Download or save the result for future reference

What happens after the Level 1 result

As per SOF guidelines, students from Classes 3 to 12 who secure the top 5 per cent ranks in their respective classes at Level 1 will be eligible to appear for the Level 2 IMO. There is no Level 2 examination for students of Classes 1 and 2.

Schools will receive official updates regarding the list of qualified students and the schedule for the next level. Students should remain in contact with their school authorities for further information related to Level 2 participation.
