The Maharashtra School Education Department has officially released the First Provisional General Merit List for FYJC Admissions 2025 today, June 6. Students who registered for Round 1 of the First-Year Junior College (FYJC) admission process can now check their merit status on the official portal mahafyjcadmissions.in. The merit list was initially scheduled for June 5 but was postponed due to an extension in the registration deadline. As of now, only the list for candidates who scored between 400 to 500 marks has been published.
This year, 10.85 lakh students have applied for admission into over 20.43 lakh seats available across 9,281 junior colleges in Maharashtra. The centralised admission process covers eight regional divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The Konkan division is excluded from the CAP process this year.
