The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the results for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA & NA) 2024 on May 9. Candidates who took part in the written examination can now view their results on the UPSC's official website at upsc.gov.in.

The examination was conducted on April 21, 2024, targeting admission into the 153rd course of the National Defence Academy and the 115th course of the Indian Naval Academy, which is set to commence on January 2, 2025.

Successful candidates are expected to proceed to the next phase of the selection process, which involves an interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. This critical phase assesses a candidate's suitability for a career in the Defence services.

The UPSC advises all qualified candidates to register online at the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks from the release of the written results. Those already registered on the site need not register again. Selection Centers and dates for the SSB interviews will be communicated to candidates through their registered email IDs.

A official notification on the official website reads, "NDA 153 and NA 115: Written qualified Candidates are instructed to register on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in strictly as per the details (name, mobile no and email id) given in the UPSC application form. Changing of particulars are not permitted."

Furthermore, the UPSC will make the mark-sheets of candidates available on its website within 15 days following the publication of the final results, providing a transparent record of performance. This step ensures candidates have timely access to their scores, which are crucial for their future career planning and progression in the military.
