JAC Timetable 2025 released for Class 8 and 9 board exams: Check complete schedule here

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the schedules for the Class 8 and Class 9 board exams 2025. Class 8 exams will begin on January 28, 2025, followed by Class 9 exams starting on January 29, 2025. Students can access and download the complete date sheets from the official JAC website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

The JAC Board Exam for classes 8th and 9th will take place in two shifts:

• Morning Shift: 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM

For Class 8, each paper carries 50 marks and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Additionally, there will be a 100-mark internal assessment conducted at the school level. This year, 5,18,002 students have registered for the Class 8 exams, while 4,77,096 students will appear for the Class 9 exams.

January 28, 2025: Hindi, English, an additional language, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science

January 29, 2025: Hindi A, Hindi B, English, Mathematics, and Science

January 30, 2025: Social Science and additional languages

The Jharkhand Board Class 11 exams are scheduled to start on March 6, 2025.

The Inter Vocational exams will take place between March 5 and 25, 2025, with 500 students registered.

The Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board exams are set to run from February 11 to March 3, 2025, with 4,33,886 students and 3,49,825 students registered, respectively.

For the Matric and Intermediate exams, students can access model question papers on jacexamportal.in. The exams will include 30 MCQs worth 30 marks, a 20-mark internal assessment, and 50 marks for short and long-answer questions.

In response to the severe cold wave, the Jharkhand government has ordered the closure of all schools, including government, private, and minority institutions, from January 7 to 13, 2025. During this period, classes from KG to 8th will remain suspended, while classes for 9th to 12th and all residential schools will continue as usual.

Students are advised to stay updated with official notifications and prepare accordingly for their exams.
