IIT-Delhi calls applications for certificate programme in ML, DL

The programme covers a wide range of ML and DL techniques and their practical applications in solving real-world business problems.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) has invited applications for the third batch of its certificate programme in machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), designed to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in these constantly evolving fields.

The certificate programme in machine learning and deep learning is an online course spanning six months. The programme is aimed at professionals in the software and IT industry who want to enhance their skills with ML/DL and aspire to work as machine learning specialist, deep learning specialist, data scientist, data analyst, AI engineers, etc.

The programme will be conducted via Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in direct-to-device (D2D) mode. Students will also get to experience the institution for a one-day immersion programme, and will be engaged in a three-week Capstone project and four-six hours of masterclass on GPT, IIT Delhi said in a statement.

The programme covers a range of ML and DL techniques and their practical applications in solving real-world business problems. By the end of the programme, learners will have a deep understanding of these techniques and how to use them in their work.

“With guidance from our expert faculty, they (learners) will explore the fundamental algorithms and gain proficiency in deploying the latest models. This will equip them with both practical expertise and theoretical insights, allowing them to thrive in the rapidly evolving contemporary landscape,” said Dr Manav Bhatnagar, Head QIPCEP and Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT-Delhi.
