India Post has released the GDS January 2025 merit list on indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Candidates can now check their selection status by downloading the merit list.

India Post has released the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) January 2025 merit list on its official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Candidates who applied for the recruitment can now check their selection status by downloading the merit list.

The selection for GDS posts is based on a system-generated merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the Class 10 board examination. There is no written test for the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo document verification at the respective Divisional or Unit Head Office where the vacancy is listed.

How to Check India Post GDS Result 2025

Candidates can follow these steps to check their results:

  1. Visit the official website – indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
  2. Click on the India Post GDS merit list link available on the homepage.
  3. Select the state for which you applied.
  4. Download the merit list for your state.
  5. Search for your name or registration number in the PDF file.
  6. Save the file for future reference.

Next Steps After Selection

Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will have to go through physical document verification at the designated divisional or unit offices. The final appointment will be confirmed after successful verification of original documents.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 21,413 vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevaks across multiple states, including, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
