Tata Curvv launches petrol variant priced at Rs 10 lakh, diesel variant at Rs 11.5 lakh

The Curvv offers multiple powertrain options including the new Hyperion gasoline direct injection engine, a 1.5L KryoJet diesel engine, and a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine.

Tata Motors  Monday revealed the petrol and diesel(internal combustion engine-ICE)  versions of its SUV Coupe Curvv after launching the EV variant last month.  The petrol variant of the Curvv will start at an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh and will be valid till 31 October.   The price of the diesel variant will start at Rs 11.49 lakh.

Tata Motors has launched the Curvv in three engines options, all provided with an Advanced Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission. With the powerful new Hyperion gasoline direct injection engine, 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and the new 1.5L KryoJet diesel engine with the segment’s first Dual Clutch Transmission in Diesel.1.2 L Revotron Petrol engine: The 1.2L Revotron petrol engine offers a proven turbocharged powertrain . Complementing this engine are multiple drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport—that are adapted to various driving conditions. The vehicle also features paddle shifters and a Smart E-Shifter for the DCA. The 7-speed DCA highlights include a wet clutch with active cooling technology, auto park lock, machine learning capabilities, shift-by-wire technology, and a self-healing mechanism - all designed to enhance driving efficiency and comfort.

1.5 L KryoJet Diesel engine: The 1.5 L Kryojet Diesel engine powering the Curvv is a new Diesel engine from Tata Motors.  The first in segment 7-speed DCA with E-shifter includes multiple drive modesEco, City and Sport , a wet clutch with active cooling technology, shift-by-wire technology, self-learning capability, patented self-healing technology, and Auto Park Lock feature.

Key specifications for both versions of the Tata Curvv include 18-inch wheels, a ground clearance of 190 mm, and a water-wading depth of 450 mm. The vehicle boasts a balanced 50:50 weight distribution and ample storage space with 500 litres of boot capacity. In terms of design, both the EV and ICE models look similar and both are based on Tata Motor’s new ATLAST platform.

The price of Tata Curvv alongwith various engine options was also revealed by the company. The Revotron Turbo Petrol MT Smart is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, Pure + at Rs 10.99 lakh, Creative at Rs 12.19 lakh, Creative S at Rs 12.69 lakh, Creative + S at Rs 13.69 lakh, Accomplished S at Rs 14.69 lakh

The Hyperion GDi MT Creative is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh, Creative S at Rs 14.99 lakh, Accomplished S at Rs 15.99 lakh, Accomplished + A, Rs 17.49 lakh

The Kryojet Diesel MT engine Smart variant starts at Rs 11.49 lakh,Pure + at Rs 12.49 lakh, Creative at Rs 13.69 lakh, Creative S at Rs 14.19 lakh, Creative + S at Rs 15.19 lakh, Accomplished S at Rs 16.19 lakh, Accomplished + A at Rs 17.69 lakh

Colour Options for Curvv ICE

The colour palette for Curvv ICE will feature Gold essence, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Pure Grey and Opera Blue.
