JLR has curated 23 itineraries for the 2026 edition of Defender Journeys.

The fourth edition of Defender Journeys will commence in January 2026, offering a set of curated, self-drive itineraries across India's most challenging and scenic regions. Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has opened online reservations for the programme, which uses the Defender 110 as the dedicated vehicle for all participants.

The Defender line-up itself spans the 90, 110 and 130 body styles, with seating options of up to eight and a hard top range for professional applications. Designed and engineered in the UK and sold in 121 countries, the Defender family is positioned as durable, purpose-built and capable across varied terrains, forming the backdrop for the Journeys programme.

In India, the Defender range is priced between Rs 98 lakh and Rs 2.42 crore (ex-showroom).

For the 2026 edition, JLR has curated 23 itineraries covering the Thar Desert, Zanskar Valley, UmLing La Pass, Ladakh region, the Spiti Valley and the Konkan belt.

Participants will drive the Defender 110, equipped with intelligent all-wheel drive and the Terrain Response 2 system, a suite that adjusts vehicle systems based on conditions.

Mark Cameron, Managing Director, Defender, said: "Defender Journeys is the ultimate expression of the Defender brand's DNA -- pushing boundaries, conquering the unconquerable and exploring the unexplored. Defender has earned its reputation as a vehicle that can go anywhere and do anything. We are proud to offer this opportunity for adventure-seekers to experience the full potential of Defender, while exploring India's most formidable landscapes and terrains, further pushing the boundaries of what seems impossible."

Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India, added: "This first-of-its-kind luxury, self-drive Defender programme in India sets a new benchmark for luxury adventurous travel. With expert guidance and curated itineraries, we are confident that our clients will embark on an unforgettable journey that will leave them with lifelong memories and a deeper appreciation for Defender's capabilities."
