Bajaj Auto has announced a price reduction across its motorcycle and three-wheeler portfolio, fully passing on the benefit of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate cut to customers.
The revised prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025. According to the company, Bajaj motorcycles, including KTM models, will see price cuts of up to Rs 20,000, while Bajaj three-wheelers will become cheaper by up to Rs 24,000. The price cuts are applicable nationwide across dealerships.
The announcement follows the government's decision to reduce GST on most two-wheelers and three-wheelers. With the new rates, manufacturers are lowering ex-showroom prices to align with the revised tax structure.
With GST rationalisation, the two-wheelers with an engine capacity of up to 350cc are in the 18% slab, while those having an engine capacity of over 350cc are in the 40% slab. All three-wheelers are in the 18% bracket now. Besides, the compensation cess has been removed.
Bajaj Auto said the reduction comes ahead of the festive season and is expected to improve affordability for a wide range of customers, including families, commuters, and small business operators who depend on motorcycles and three-wheelers for daily use and livelihood.
The company's Executive Director Rakesh Sharma said: "The government's decision to reduce GST for most two wheelers and three wheelers is a bold step forward, which will unlock their demand and set the industry on a firm growth path. At Bajaj Auto, we are delighted to support the initiative, making our vehicles more affordable just as the festive season begins."
Industry analysts expect the price reduction to strengthen sales momentum across the two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments in the coming months, particularly during the festive period when demand typically peaks.
Rival TVS Motor Company has also announced that it will revise pricing following the GST 2.0 implementation.
