Tara Jewels to list shares on December 6

Mumbai-based jewellery manufacturer and retailer Tara Jewels will list its equity shares on exchanges on Thursday, December 6, 2012. The issue price is fixed at higher end of price band of Rs 225-230 a share.

    Mumbai-based jewellery manufacturer and retailer Tara Jewels will list its equity shares on exchanges on Thursday, December 6, 2012. The issue price is fixed at higher end of price band of Rs 225-230 a share.


    The issue, which opened for subscription during November 21-23, was oversubscribed 1.98 times, helped by all kind of investors.


    Tara Jewels raised Rs 179.5 crore through the issue, which comprised of a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 109.5 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 70 crore worth of shares by Fabrikant H K Trading Limited.


    Jewellery retailer said the company intended to launch 20 project stores across India by March 31, 2013. Fresh issue proceeds are proposed to be used for expenses of establishing retail stores and payment of loans.
