Royal Enfield sales surge 47.5% in June

The iconic two-wheeler manufacturer sold 25,303 units in June 2014, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Sales in the domestic market zoomed 49.2 percent to 36,597 units from 24,519 units during during same month last year.

Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors has registered total sales of 37,341 units in June, up by 47.5 percent over sales in the same month last year.

The iconic two-wheeler manufacturer sold 25,303 units in June 2014, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Sales in the domestic market zoomed 49.2 percent to 36,597 units from 24,519 units during during same month last year.

However the company witnessed a marginal decline in exports to 744 units in June 2015 from 784 units in the same month of last year.

On year-to-date basis, sales till June, Royal Enfield witnessed a 44.1 percent rise to 1,99,457 units as against 1,38,399 units sold during the same period of previous year.

In the domestic market the company sold 1,94,832 units, up by 44 percent, from 1,35,026 units during the same period of the previous year.

Sales in overseas market grew 38 percent in 2015 till date to 4,625 from 3,373 units during the same period of the previous year.
