A social media personality who previously gained attention for burning a photograph of Ali Khamenei and using the flame to relight her cigarette has once again drawn public scrutiny after reacting to the reported killing of the Iranian leader in a joint military operation carried out by the United States and Israel.
The woman, known online as Morticia Addams, shared a video on X (social media platform) showing herself participating in what appeared to be an anti-government rally in Canada, where she is currently believed to be living.
In her post, she expressed celebration over the reported death, writing, “I said we’d dance on your grave, didn’t I?" In another message, she described the death of the Iranian leader as “pathetic” and cited Donald Trump, saying, “He died like a rat."

The woman first attracted international attention earlier this year after a video circulated online showing her setting fire to an A4-sized photograph of Khamenei and using the burning paper to light a cigarette. The clip was widely shared and became a symbol for some anti-government activists.
The viral incident emerged amid ongoing political and social tensions inside Iran, where economic hardship, repeated public demonstrations, and long-standing disputes over women’s rights have contributed to unrest.
She has previously identified herself as an Iranian refugee and stated that she uses a pseudonym for security reasons. According to her claims, she was detained and abused in Iran due to her dissident activities before leaving for Turkey. She later obtained a student visa and is now reportedly based in Toronto.
The 86-year-old Khamenei was killed on Saturday in a coordinated airstrike operation allegedly involving the United States and Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attack destroyed Khamenei’s compound in Tehran. Iranian state media also reported that several family members, including his daughter and granddaughter, were killed along with approximately 30 to 40 senior officials present inside the complex during the strike.
After the killing, Tehran condemned the action as unjustified and launched missile attacks targeting Israel and other regional areas that host American military forces.
