Iran issues cryptic warning as tensions with US rise

The Islamic Republic of Iran shared a cryptic post on X that states, ' We are ready.' This came amid US intelligence's report that Israel has been making preparations for a strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.

The U.S. is preparing for possible Iranian retaliation against American assets in neighboring Iraq. The US government has advised some American citizens to leave the region as precautionary measure.

While Israeli officials have informed the U.S. that they are fully prepared to carry out a military operation against Iran, according to multiple sources cited by CBS News.

This development follows the collapse of recent negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program.

“They can't have a nuclear weapon. Very simple. They can't have a nuclear weapon. We're not going to allow that,” said U.S. President Donald Trump, reaffirming his hardline stance on the issue.

Trump added, “US military personnel are being moved out (of some countries of the Middle East) because it could be a dangerous place and we will see what happens...We have given notice to move out.”
