However, Pakistan has once again attracted ridicule after its Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement containing multiple typos.
The headline of the release read, “Prime Minister’s Visit to the Unites States of Americas.”
The statement detailed Sharif’s official visit to the United States to attend the inaugural session of the Board of Peace.

Social media backlash
Social media users reacted swiftly to the error. An X account named “Pakistan (Civilians)” commented, “Lanat ha tm pr. Yahoodi ki olado.”
Another user responded by pointing out “Unites" with a laughing smiley, further adding to the mockery over the spelling mistake.
This incident has added to Sharif's history of social media gaffes.
Not the first typo incident
Last year, during a tense international moment, Sharif attracted attention online when he allegedly wrote “I condom the attack” instead of “I condemn the attack” while commenting on Israel’s reported airstrikes on Iran. The error quickly became a source of memes and jokes.
