




In a shocking turn of events, former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg is now facing sanctions from a Delaware judge, shortly after Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg distanced himself from her.
Sandberg was part of a $7-million funding round led by Accel, an existing investor in Simplismart
The startup’s captable boasts of former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg, Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang among its angels, apart from a slew of institutional investors like Accel, Prosus and Wipro.
Ema also has Yahoo founder Jerry Yang and former Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Ribbit Capital’s Micky Malka among others as angel investors.
"Meta business is strong and well-positioned for the future, so this feels like the right time to step away," Sandberg said in the post, adding that she will serve as an adviser to the company.
