Last December, the government approved revision of pension of armed forces personnel under 'One Rank One Pension' scheme with retrospective effect from July 1, 2019. The arrears were to be paid in four instalments.

The two sides would discuss the Indo-Pacific region, Russia and Ukraine along with the bilateral issues.

He said the creation of a separate Ministry of Co-operation (in 2021) underscores the importance the Narendra Modi government gives to the key sector.

Tejas is a single-engine multi-role fighter aircraft, with the capability to operate in high-threat air environments. The indigenously-developed fighter jet has been developed to undertake air defence, maritime reconnaissance and strike operations.
