Vivo looks set to expand its premium smartphone lineup in India, and this time the spotlight is firmly on the Vivo X200T. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo X200T is launching in India soon, and the full specifications and pricing for the Indian market have already surfaced online.
In a post shared on X, Yadav claimed that the Vivo X200T will be available in two variants. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to be priced at Rs 59,999, while the higher-end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version could retail for Rs 69,999. If these prices hold true, Vivo appears to be positioning the X200T firmly in the upper-premium segment, taking on flagship-level phones from rival brands.
Starting with the display, the Vivo X200T is tipped to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. This should translate into sharp visuals and vibrant colours, especially for streaming and gaming. Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. On the software side, the device is expected to run Android 16 out of the box, with Vivo promising five Android OS updates and a lengthy seven years of security patches — something that will likely appeal to long-term users.
Cameras appear to be one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo X200T. The phone is said to feature a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA LYT-702 sensor with optical image stabilisation and Zeiss Super Photo Sensitive branding. It is joined by a 50MP Samsung JN1 wide-angle camera and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope lens, also tuned with Zeiss optics. On the front, users can expect a 32MP selfie camera.
Battery life also looks promising. The Vivo X200T is tipped to pack a large 6,200mAh battery, with support for 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Connectivity options are expected to include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, eSIM support and a USB Type-C port. The phone is also said to feature a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and advanced cooling with a 4.5K nanofluid vapour chamber system.
Rounding things off, the Vivo X200T is expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and could be offered in Black and Purple colour options. While Vivo has not officially confirmed the launch date yet, the leaked details suggest the X200T could be one of the brand’s most ambitious smartphone launches in India this year.
