February 2026 is shaping up to be an active month for smartphone launches in India, with several brands preparing updates across price segments. Samsung is expected to headline the month with its next-generation Galaxy S series, while Vivo, iQOO, Google and Oppo are also lining up new devices. The launches are spread across premium flagships and mid-range models, reflecting a steady refresh cycle ahead of the new financial year.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series around February 25, with availability expected in early March. As with previous years, the lineup is likely to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra, with additional variants expected later in the year.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to use either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset, depending on the market. Reports also point to display upgrades, a new 200MP camera sensor and faster wired charging. The standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus are expected to receive incremental updates, focusing on efficiency and camera tuning rather than major design changes.
Vivo V70 series

Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo V70 series in India, with two variants expected: the V70 and V70 Elite. Both models are tipped to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while processor options may differ between variants.
Camera hardware is expected to be a key focus, with reports suggesting a 50MP main camera paired with a telephoto lens and software-led features such as AI-assisted portrait tools and region-specific photo filters. The V70 series is expected to target the upper mid-range segment.

The phone is expected to feature a high-refresh-rate display, a flagship-grade Snapdragon chipset and a large battery with fast charging support. Camera specifications are expected to include a high-resolution primary sensor, positioning the 15R as a performance-focused option aimed at users looking for gaming and sustained performance.
Google Pixel 9a
Apple is also expected to introduce the iPhone 17e, a more accessible variant in the iPhone 17 lineup. The device is expected to feature a 6.1-inch display with Dynamic Island, an A19 chipset and possible MagSafe support. Google, meanwhile, is preparing the Pixel 10a, which is expected to retain a compact design while offering updated Tensor hardware and camera features.
Oppo and Samsung mid-range launches
Galaxy
Oppo is set to launch the Oppo K14x, focusing on battery life, display refresh rate and AI-backed camera features. Samsung is also expected to expand its mid-range portfolio with the Galaxy F70, targeting sub-Rs 30,000 price points. Together, these launches indicate a packed February for smartphone buyers, with multiple options expected across performance, camera and battery-focused categories.
