After the launch of its flip-foldable smartphone in India last year, Tecno is gearing up to launch the Tecno Phantom V2 Flip in India this year. The company hasn’t officially revealed any details of the upcoming smartphone yet. However, a new listing on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website has revealed some key information about this smartphone.

Tecno Phantom V2: Expected design, specifications

The image of the Tecno Phantom V2 Flip on the FCC listing hints at a design overhaul compared to last year’s Tecno Phantom V Flip. The V2 Flip has a bigger rectangular display with two main camera lenses at the top left, similar to the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5.

Other than this, the documents on the FCC website also reveal that the V2 Flip will have dual batteries with 3410mAh and 1180mAh capacities. This makes its total battery capacity at 4590mAh, which is much higher than the 4000mAh on the preceding smartphone. The phone is confirmed to support up to 70W charging speeds as per the listing.

Another sticker on the FCC listing shows that the phone will be available with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, we don’t know if other variants will be launched as well. The phone would measure 170 x 74 x 8mm in size when unfolded and 85 x 74 x 16mm when folded.

Previously, the Tecno Phantom V2 Flip was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing revealed that the upcoming foldable smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset and it scored 814 and 2,866 points in the single-core and multi-core test results respectively.
