Chinese smartphone maker Tecno has introduced the Phantom V2 series in India. It consists of the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G and the Phantom V Flip 2 5G. These are the second-generation foldable devices from the company and have been introduced at attractive prices, making them the most affordable foldable smartphones in India.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 has been priced at Rs 79,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the Phantom V Flip 2 is available for Rs 34,999 with a single 8GB + 256GB model. However, these are only introductory prices for a limited period. The phones will be available for purchase in the country via Amazon starting December 13.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 is available in Karst Green and Rippling Blue shades. Meanwhile, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 comes in Moondust Grey and Travertine Green colour options.

Starting with the Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, the foldable features a 7.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED main display and a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover display. Both screens offer 120Hz refresh rate support. Further, it comes with a big 5750mAh battery, which the company claims is the “Largest Battery in Foldable Phones”. Tecno has not specified its processor details yet, but the global version is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC.

In the camera department, the V Fold 2 has a triple 50MP rear camera setup stacked in a rectangular module. Further, it has dual 32MP selfie cameras on both displays. The smartphone offers 70W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

In contrast, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2, is equipped with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LTPO 120Hz AMOLED main display and a 3.64-inch AMOLED outer screen. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. For photography, the Phantom V Flip 2 5G includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The device also has Dolby Atmos-backed dual stereo speakers.

It is equipped with a 4,720mAh battery that supports 70W wired fast charging.
