Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra drops to Rs. 69,999 at Croma’s December Sale: Here’s how the offer works

Croma’s Cromtastic December Sale brings the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra down to an effective price of Rs. 69,999 with exchange and bonus offers, making it one of the most attractive flagship deals this festive season.

India’s electronics retailer Croma has kicked off its Cromtastic December Sale, bringing heavy discounts on premium smartphones and other high-end gadgets. Running from 15 December to 4 January 2025, the sale is available across Croma’s physical retail stores nationwide. While deals may differ online, the in-store offers are drawing attention, particularly for buyers eyeing flagship smartphones at reduced prices.

One of the most notable deals this season is on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which can now be purchased at a sharply reduced effective price when exchange benefits are applied.

Under the Cromtastic December Sale, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is listed in-store at Rs. 1,29,999. However, Croma is offering exchange benefits of up to Rs. 45,000 on eligible smartphones. On top of this, buyers can receive an additional exchange bonus of up to Rs. 15,000. When both offers are combined and the maximum benefit is applied, the effective price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra drops to Rs. 69,999. The final amount depends on the model, condition, and valuation of the device being exchanged, but even moderate exchange values can significantly reduce the upfront cost.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra continues Samsung’s focus on large, immersive displays. It features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Samsung has also added Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection along with an anti-reflective coating, which improves readability under harsh lighting and outdoor conditions. This makes the device particularly appealing for users who consume a lot of content or rely on their phones for productivity on the go.

Design-wise, Samsung has softened the edges this year, moving away from the sharper, boxy profile of previous Ultra models. The S25 Ultra is slimmer at 8.2mm and weighs 218g, which should make it more comfortable to hold over long periods, despite its large footprint.

Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, customised for Samsung. The processor brings noticeable gains in performance efficiency and on-device AI processing. Many AI-driven features, including advanced photo editing tools, now run locally on the device instead of relying heavily on cloud services. The phone ships with 12GB of RAM and is available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants, catering to users with heavy storage needs.

Samsung has also upgraded the camera hardware this year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra sports a 200MP primary sensor, complemented by a new 50MP ultra-wide camera. The telephoto setup includes a 50MP lens with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP lens offering 3x zoom, enabling versatile photography across different focal lengths. On the front, a 12MP camera handles selfies and video calls.

Battery capacity remains unchanged at 5,000mAh, but the phone supports 45W wired fast charging and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, ensuring quicker top-ups during the day.

With aggressive exchange offers and top-tier specifications, the Galaxy S25 Ultra deal stands out as one of the strongest flagship discounts available this festive season. For buyers planning an upgrade, Croma’s December sale presents a rare opportunity to own Samsung’s latest Ultra phone at a substantially lower effective price.
