Microsoft is bringing 3 new Xbox Series XIS consoles to market this year, Roanne Sones, Head of Xbox Devices, Microsoft, announced in a post on Xbox Wire.
The three new Xbox consoles are the Xbox Series S (1TB) in Robot White colour option, Xbox Series X (1TB) Digital Edition in Robot White, once again and the Xbox Series X (2TB) Galaxy Black Special Edition.
All the three Xbox consoles will launch “holiday 2024”, as per Microsoft. The Redmond-based tech giant will reveal details regarding regional pricing, market availability and pre-order details soon in the coming days.
Let’s take a look at each of the three upcoming Xbox Series X|S consoles one by one.
Xbox Series S (1TB) Robot White ConsoleThe Xbox Series S will get a new colour option this year: Robot White. The console was released in Carbon Black in 2023.
The Xbox Series S Robot White variant gets 1TB SSD which means space for more games. Microsoft claims that the Xbox Series S Robot White variant supports gameplay of up to 120 FPS.
Microsoft will launch the Xbox Series S (1TB) Robot White in select markets for $349.99/€349.99 ERP.
Xbox Series X (1TB) Digital Edition Robot White ConsoleThe Xbox Series X (1TB) Digital Edition is the all-digital Xbox Series X, with 1TB SSD. The console supports up to 4K resolution.
Microsoft will make the Xbox Series X (1TB) Digital Edition available in select markets for $449.99/€499.99 ERP.
Xbox Series X (2TB) Galaxy Black Special Edition ConsoleThe Xbox Series X (2TB) Galaxy Black Special Edition is the fastest and the most powerful Xbox console yet, claims Microsoft. And, now it is going to launch with a 2TB SSD. The Xbox Series X Galaxy Black Special Edition also features a new design, with “a silver, grey, and green celestial effect”, says Microsoft.
The Xbox Series X (2TB) Galaxy Black Special Edition is going to be a limited edition one, with fewer units manufactured. It will come with a matching Xbox Wireless Controller, with a Galaxy Black D-pad and Velocity Green back case, exclusive only to the Galaxy Black Special Edition Console.
